Founder and Principal Tania Johns personally leads engagements from research design through final recommendations, drawing on experience in public-opinion research, civic leadership, and community decision-making.

Tania Johns

Founder and Principal

Tania Johns is the founder and principal of PRC Impact. She leads qualitative research and civic strategy involving public investment, health communications, violence-prevention planning, voter engagement, and community decision-making.

Her background includes public-opinion research at Anzalone Liszt Grove Research, now Impact Research; leadership in multi-state civic engagement; and senior roles in Montgomery politics. She served as Deputy Campaign Manager for the campaign that elected Montgomery’s first Black mayor and later advised the mayor’s administration.

Tania is a graduate of Alabama State University and holds a Master of Public Administration from Auburn University at Montgomery, with a concentration in healthcare administration and policy. She is a RIVA-trained qualitative moderator and Certified AI Consultant.
